0.143 x64 compiled with Vista x64 (HLSL Question)
07/06/11 04:42 AM

Hey fellas,

Today is the first time I've started reading about HLSL. I have a 27" Kortek arcade monitor in my cab. The compile went fine and I have cut and pasted the HLSL folder which contains the .fx files into the same directory where my MAME64.exe resides. I also performed a -createconfig to start with a fresh file. I enabled the switch to "1" for -hlsl_enable. I haven't really noticed any performance differences. Maybe I need to make some adjustments per the HLSL.TXT to see the changes.

My question is this...

Is this setting intended for arcade monitors or is it made for LCD's to gain the visuals of an arcade monitor? Or both?

Any insight would be appreciated and if this warrants an RTFM comment, I understand.

Thanks to MAMEDEV for the continued progress as always!

Jason
