A while back I made a post about a freeware, horizontal shooter named Hydorah.

I started playing it again tonight and remembering how much fun it is. So I propose a contest amongst the Binners (please don't move this thread)...the Hydorah Challenge!

Here are the rules....

Get the highest score on one set of lives. No continues, no cheats, no saves. Honor system is in effect.

Post a screen cap of your highest score.

Contest starts today, and has no end date. Contest is for bragging rights only. If you topple the current high score, post your screen cap with your high score. If you played the game before, your previous high scores do not count. You must start your attempt after today's date.

The high score record stands until it's beaten by someone else. Post your high score, along with the screenshot as a reply to this message, with the subject as your current high score.

***HONOR SYSTEM ONLY*** This is a worthless contest. There is no prize except the right to taunt your competitors.

I'll start at 57,340...I'm horrible at the game, and I'm lucky if I meet the 3rd boss on my default set of lives.
