I tried doing this as well but it was just way more trouble than it was worth. When I did finally get it working, something was just off about the way it felt. I caved in and spent the money on an Aimtrak and I'm quite happy with it. Have you been able to get the Wiimote running as a mouse on the desktop with Glove Pie?
