Whoever figured the rules of golf is a goddamn idiot. Enough so they warrant a beating through the grave.
And while I enjoy some of the golf games created, like Turf Masters, the creators or somebody in that troupe needs a beat-down.
The two things that make it unforgivable are it's fair consistency in suggesting shit-ass configurations at a hole; and it's inconsistency in doing the same thing in similar siutations with the same settings - for example, putting into...not past...the hole, with strength at the indicated line.
Oh, and that 260 yards on a 500 yard hole IS LESS than half the distance when shot. Really? SeRiously??
So, three things.
Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.
