Agreed...but most of this BS anti-malware stuff starts scanning, or at least has the illusion that it's scanning the moment it is kicked off.
The best thing you can do is open your task manager and kill any task that looks bogus, or start the PC in safe mode. Run a TDSSkiller scan (look in my previous post in this thread) and if it finds anything have it remove it. Next run a Malwarebytes scan and remove anything it finds.
