He got booed off stage in Detroit.
They could have cancelled the whole tour, and went back to LA losers.
Driving from Detroit to Chicago, they brain-stormed how to salvage Charlie's tour, and ultimately his bankability.
The producers epiphany? What made Charlie so hot lately... his press rants. So give them more of that...
The Chicago show... nothing on stage but two stools, one for Charlie, one for an interviewer... for a two hour live interview.
Standing ovation at curtain drop.
That's a win. Bi-winning. Demand for that producer just went ka-ching.
