Initially, the Robot and Foundation series' were separate. It was only much later that he conjoined them. As well, they're different kinds of stories. I say:
- start with publishing chronology.
- and read either Foundation or Robots separately
Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.
