My Seagate Barracuda 80GB IDE drive served well on my PC since 1998 to 3 months ago. Its sole purpose was to store downloaded files from Internet and P2P networks (that includes everything MAME related and backup ISOs) on a rarely turned off PC. Today is still serving as always, but this time as an XBOX hard drive.
