It's funny, because I've never owned one. I just always print out a map, get the key roads memorized, and drive. The only times I've gotten lost, in retrospect I shouldn't have been driving. But I've driven in foreign countries and just used the directions I was given by someone.
Though England was the most difficult. Not used to the other side of the road, or the other side of the car. After driving from Heathrow to Canterbury, I decided to make use of the car service while I was out there.
