Re: Flash card help

No, I don't need to recover anything. In fact, the files on the card seem fine. Here's the thing though- the files on this card I have seem permanently fixed in place. The card is unlocked, but just try to delete anything or copy something new to it and Windows will seem to do it, but if I take the card out and reinsert it, the files are back as they were before copying/deleting, and they are not corrupt that I can tell. I tried it in a camera and it was rejected as damaged, so it's not windows that's the problem. If I try to format the card, the format fails (dunno if it's supposed to work on SD cards anyway).

In the end, I do some tech support in the company I work for and I want to be able to tell others that they can download a program and test their cards for errors. We don't work in a single place so I can just take their cards and test it myself- everyone does field work in different areas.
