Had been missing 2 weeks. We were positive the little one was responsible given the circumstances it was lost under. We had torn apart the 3 possible rooms it could have been in. We have interrogated the mischievous kiddo non stop. Showed her pictures, bribed her, nothing.

Today I decided to remove some ventilation conduit in the basement "just to see". Viola, ring falls out.

We approach my precious jewel thief of a snowflake. "Honey, why was this in the heater vent?"

My wife and I look at her, trying to keep our "parent" game faces on. She gives us the puppy dog eyes, and says. "It okay daddy, gow have popskull?"
