> You need the real DSP chip dumps to use anything DSP-1, SuperFX, etc.
You only need the the roms for the following special chips in 0.74:
DSP1 (everything but Super Mario Kart and Ballz 3D) DSP1b (Super Mario Kart and Ballz 3D) DSP2 (Dungeon Master) DSP3 (SD Gundam game) DSP4 (Top Gear 3000) ST-0010 (F1 Roc II) ST-0011 (Japanese chess type game)
The SuperFX chip, SA-1 , S-DD-1, OBC-1, S-RTC, and SPC7110 do not have rom data inside of them.
Only the CX4 (Megaman X2 and Megaman X3) and the ST-0018 (Some other Japanese chess type game) remain to have their ROM information extracted.
Also, BSNES will default to use the DSP1b rom for all DSP1 games. This is generally OK, but it does make the plane crash in the demo mode of Pilotwings. You can create an XML file that BSNES can use to direct it to use the plane DSP1 rom, but I haven't delved into that.
