I kept having a problem with my pellet stove. Signs pointed to the heat sensor that controls the auger -wasn't working. In the manual for it it says to lightly tap it... So, I open it up from the back... It's a ways back there, so I get a screw driver to tap it... About after the 4th time (after several minutes each time and it eventually not working) of tapping it with the screw driver I made contact with the bottom part of a connector, and part of the metal of the stove. POP! with a big bright spark.
I turned the breaker back on and it hasn't had any trouble feeding the pellets into the burn pot. I guess that knocked some sense into it.
