So... a few friends and I roadtripped down to see it. And... we didn't get to. Apparently the projector was not set up right. When they started the movie, it was upside-down, double-wide, and double-vision. A crowd of angry nerds wanted to storm the projectionist booth and fix it, but in the end we settled for full refunds on tickets, full refunds on concessions, and free vouchers. This is why, when I DO go to the movies, I go to the locally-run ones and not "Regal" or "AMC" or whatever.
On the other hand, not a total loss. Aside from the voucher and our money back, we also saw someone bring their DeLorean they were just starting to kit out, sitting in the parking lot. Got pictures. Also: someone dressed as Marty, and brought a hoverboard (out of juice, apparently. ) And finally, the angry nerds in front of us passed out flyers that read: "Save The Clock Tower". Apparently duplicates, printed from the Web somewhere. Awesome.
