The full Hyperion series, yes, that was good. Lots of book there.
That was Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine I was referring to, not the work of Asimov himself. Between them, it and Analog Science Fiction and Fact provide a good supply of short stories every month, by famous and not-so-famous authors, and generally well chosen; not at all the ray-gun spaceman dreck they churned out back in the mid 20th century.
Though I prefer Analog, as it has less fantasy-like stuff, and gives you a fact article or two of random science topics (What's in a Kiss? The Wild, Wonderful World of Philematology by Richard A. Lovett, to go with his story (co-authored) Snowflake Kisses in the same issue).
