MAMEWorld Forums - The Loony Bin - Mappy stopped by store security, arrested under scandel.

Meowky Superstore: Thursday evening, Mappy was discovered by store personnel loitering near the store's exit holding a large tote similar to the style currently being sold by the store, but not in a store bag. Security notes "We've had alot of his kind in here shaking us down for our goods." They also noted Mappy was acting suspicious, and looked kind of dodgy, so they approached Mappy to ask to see his receipt. Security notes at this point he became agitated, refusing to show a receipt for the purchase, claiming the bag was his private property and they had no right to search it. Sensing something wasn't right, security then called for assistance, as the Senior Security Officer Goro asked Mappy to open his tote so they could look inside.

"He was acting like all that, and all", he notes, "thinking like 'cuz he's a cop and all he didn't have to cooperate or nothin'." Witnesses on the scene say it was at this point security tried to escort Mappy to a debriefing room in the rear of the store, and a scuffle ensued. Witnesses are unclear as to rather Mappy pulled out his fire-arm, or if it fell out in the scuffle, but at one point multiple witnesses observed Mappy retrieving his gun from off of the floor.

"I saw the gun, and I was like, whoa, a gun," said Junior Security Deputy, who was the officer who fired the tazer gun that brought the combative Mappy under control. At this point he was cuffed and arrested for brandishing a firearm, and disorderly conduct.

"It's just so stupaid," noted the clerk, who first noticed Mappy holding the tote near the exit. "It turns out he had a receipt and everthing the whole time... why didn't he just show us it? I don't know."

Mappy's police commisioner confirmed to us that Mappy was suspended with pay pending a further investigation into the incident, but declined to provide any further comment.
