History shows that what you call "nag screens" are necessary in order to protect what's left of our collective sanity, mamedev and forum regulars alike.
Amazingly, even though the screens are there and worded like they are, some people still manage to ignore them and post here asking why or informing everybody that the game in question doesn't work, or worse, file bug reports on mametesters. Tafoid and Fujix are busy enough as it is.
Imagine if someone made some kind of package available for download with a bunch of ROMs and a version of MAME with the "nag screens" disabled, either hardcoded or via your proposed switch. I can guarantee a highly annoying influx of posts by people using such a build, complaining about non-working games and a mametesters bug reporting storm.
Get over it, disable them in your own personal build.
