MAMEWorld Forums - Hardware - Atari Gamestation Pro Joystick, tried it with Mame.

I am using Linux (Debian 11). I can report the Gamestation Pro joystick , when plugged in via USB, has all the buttons and the stick works and can map them all in mame. The only catch is I could only get the paddle controller to half work.

My paddle is device has values between -32768 (turned extreme left) and 32768 (turned extreme right), which I see using jstest. Yet Mame seems to only see half the values (the positive values , when I turn the paddle to the right), it does not see the negative values (when I turn the paddle to the left). Any suggestions for getting that bit to work in Mame are appreciated.
