And also with past assistance from the actual game developers that either worked for Atari or some of the other smaller size coinop companies along with businesses that owned and marketed games from Exidy and other companies by allowing roms to be picked up from MAMEdev site and also some hardware developers that designed audio hardware equipment.

There are still younger generations such as offspring of those that used to be in the business of creating games and products from 20th century era wanting to see or play what their parents had created many years earlier just for the novelty sake of: “What did dad help make when he worked for a company back then?”

But yep….most won’t have interest from a game product long ago….but maybe the emulation of some of the musical instruments might be something that could be useful in the eyes of younger generations since those have useful uses to this day and age compared to Space Invaders.

One example to mention: a piano teacher had mentioned to my sister that one of the students that is currently taking lessons from that same teacher had informed teacher about the recent ‘awesome’ work of how Casio Cz series synthesizers have been emulated with Cz 101 or Cz-1. The student had a laptop set with recent MAME in order to run and play Cz-1 emulation for the teacher. The teacher had mentioned some of the other software products already existed, but the student now prefers the emulation in MAME over the already existing commercial programs out there. The student made a video of himself playing a music piece while running MAME Cz-1 emulation and showing video to the teacher. While PacMan may or may not be popular with younger generation, it looks like some stuff in MAME might be useful to younger generations.
