No it should not – you don’t even have the file names right. You should have:

  • roms/supracan.zip (Super A'Can boot ROMs, etc.)
  • roms/supracan/monopoly.zip (Monopoly cartridge ROMs)



Then you can just do "mame supracan -cart monopoly" to launch it.
