Why do you immediately assume that people are using sockpuppets to manipulate voting? Have you not considered that you might’ve pissed off enough people now that their knee-jerk reaction is to downvote you and upvote anyone critical of you?

Have you considered that the people who actually develop MAME are likely the most qualified to provide support, and getting them all offside isn’t the best idea if you want to continue to get help?

You don’t use the media options listed by -listmedia for the system you’re trying to run, and you don’t use the actual device name reported by -listmidi then you wonder why it doesn’t work.

I was reluctant to actually reply to your post in the first place. MIDI I/O has been a MAME feature for years, the relevant options are listed by the usual -showusage, -listmedia, etc. as well as appearing in the documentation. Plenty of people manage to get it to work. Hell, I had to work it out how to use it back when I was trying to help out with getting the SNES Miracle Piano working, and documentation was pretty much non-existent then. I decided to give you another chance and point you in the right direction, but it was as futile as ever.
