Re: so there's a midway pacman v.1 and v.2 ?!?!
07/23/22 07:46 PM

This is one of the best posts I've ever seen.

If I were given to conspiratorial thinking, I might almost think that it's an allusion to William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr., born in 1965, who is a known confidence artist.

The same William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr. who was discovered to have made obvious use of some form of emulator in setting what he claimed was a world record in Donkey Kong, and has restricted his interactions only to non-technical people who don't know any better, and will take him at his completely valueless word rather than challenge him.

This would also be the same William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr. who had close associations with Todd Rogers, another serial liar and confidence artist who took advantage of the lack of easy verification of lies in the 80's to parlay his way into something resembling fame, a figurehead among other people born around the boomer/Gen-X boundary.

Probably, also, the same William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr. who filed a defamation lawsuit - and lost - against Cartoon Network, because he was super offended at a satirical portrayal of his likeness in a childrens' cartoon.

If I was even more conspiracy-minded, I might suggest that it's also the same William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr. who is now filing a defamation suit against both Twin Galaxies for having the temerity to inform him of his habitual lying, as well as YouTuber Karl Jobst for drawing attention to this habitual lying.

I would of course never do any of these things. I am certian that your post has nothing to do with William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr.'s habitual lying and defrauding of people, and stands entirely on its own, speaking of a hypothetical person. I'm equally certain that this William "Billy" James Mitchell Jr. is a veritable saint, and the real crime here is that people haven't investigated the efficacy of his hot sauce against cancer by virtue of the inclusion of angel tears in the ingredients list.
