 I would have been ok with it. I love retro gaming and lightgun shooters in particular  so I'm happy to do anything I can to help improve things.
Speaking of which, the SVG scoreboard artwork should be compatible with Golly Ghost 1. I wondered if you wanted to incorporate that in the Golly Ghost artwork layout file, along with the alternative 16:9 layout. I didn't want to be rude and just do that without your approval.
