n64 controller/memory card recommendations?

i have 2 brawler64 controllers, and 4 original controllers from 1996.

i've tried the repairbox replacement sticks and they are wonky; about half the analog's first 50% is squeezed into the 35-40% zone and they are way oversensitive. the brawler64 pads are ok, but they don't reach max throttle in some positions. also, their buttons are super cheap feeling.

any modern pads that you guys could recommend before i start buying one of everything? ideally i'd like an analog stick that's ball-based like the gamecube (or any modern stick) and buttons that feel premium. i don't care if the form factor is the tri-wing original or a modern ps2 incarnation.
