I personally love MG's personality and I could watch a really long documentary or movie of him talking about MAME's history and such. He's got the personality & voice that would keep me engaged and interested. Same for Haze in a similar kind of sense, yet there are difference. Should've been more of this kind of online personable presence 10 years ago, but hindsight is in fact 20/20.
The problem is it's just simply too much for one person alone. It's almost like there needs to be some kind of production team that assembles the content and delivers exactly what the talking point are, then either MG or Haze put their own spin or ideas on it for final delivery.
You can tell from history that Haze realized how important it was to document MAME's history from the points and blog posts he's published like the years in MAME and what all the progress and milestones reached, but this reverts back to the prior point that it's simply too much for one person entirely.
MG has and have always had the potential of getting 10X or 100X the views of others in the online space such as RGB Bob, Lady Decade, or others, but with real-life responsibilities and real-life jobs plus development that can be quite demanding, I don't know the exact path you take to get there. I personally think he's cool as fuck and I know people will always choose to hold certain things against him, but it's important to know that we're all human and we all suffer from negative emotions. None of us are completely innocent from such. Focus instead on the positives and appreciate those that have been around for decades and that are here now active. It will get to a point where all of us are gone.
