that does seem a bit unlikely, sometimes the copyright screens can be a year behind if the code was finished before the turn of the year, and distribution happened after, but yeah 2 years is unlikely.
(there are other cases, where on-screen dates are obviously fake, but mostly bootlegs, or modern things designed to look 'retro' so that doesn't apply here)
