I still think it would be far better to celebrate the things that we have done over the year instead.
In terms of gaming related stuff, there's been a near constant flow of screenshots added to my page at https://mamedev.emulab.it/haze/2020-fully-embracing-the-new-vision/ over the year, with many still not having any coverage at all, and non-gaming work unfortunately not getting much of a mention at all yet simply due to lack of time to cover it.
My YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/mamehaze) is also loaded with videos of things from this year, that I've felt interesting enough, or in some cases bad enough, to highlight with some basic video coverage.
As others have said, this "but what else" sentiment does tend to wear people down after a while, especially when we've been working our socks off on what has been a very tough year mentally for many of those involved. Celebrate what has been done, not what hasn't.
