All quiet in my area of north Orange county neighborhood.
>Go Lakers
The season is somewhat comparable to the 1998-1999 season with notable difference of pandemic outbreak and having to take precautions of secluding/isolate players while trying to salvage what was left of the season.
Glad of not having to read any LeBron sulking sports stories in LA Times paper after Lakers last season disaster. Also.....no more of the 'asterisk' gripes talk since that is what happened years earlier in the strike shortened season.
League Champion: San Antonio Spurs

Lakers coach Phil Jackson (former Bulls coach) and iirc maybe both Shaq and Kobe added their opinions that the Spurs team was an asterisk Champion team. I believe Spurs coach Gregg Poppovich responded to Jackson with a comment "...if 'Jackson' were a better coach, his team would be in the NBA finals that season."
As for Dodgers MLB postseason, Atlanta Braves made the NL playoff series a memorable one. The Dodgers had to play nearly perfect to get by Atlanta to reach the World Series. Expect the Braves to be in playoffs next season since they should retain their quality HR hitters for next season.
