1. the power button does appear to be depressed judging from the shadow. if the "on" light stays lit in pulses and the materials do not retain luminescence, a photo taken faster than 1/60s (or 1/50s for pal) could possibly capture it appearing 'off'.
2. yeh, there's too much to dissect here. also, IS that an nes controller he's holding? photo compression makes his right hand actually look like a rodent of some kind.
3. they may have more than 1 copy.
4. if the hookups are in the back of the tv, there's no way to confirm this as the output leads from the nes are possibly occluded by the viewing angle (the rca/rf leads are on the far corner rear of the unit).
5. most likely.
6 & 7. debatable and likely a result of the image being a marketing composite.
8. what's the reasoning behind the adoption suggestion?
i'm being a pedantic asshole. i laughed at every point made and had similar thoughts about them all.
