I was corrected and informed about video clip which I thought came from an actual Star Hawk cab, but was emulation.
-- As far as Starhawk is concerned, in my quick checking of your video which is clearly a version of MAME using samples against current build, I notice nothing missing with sound effects. -
[MAME emulation] of Star Hawk (1979) by Cinematronics
-- From what I can tell the comment in the nl_starhawk.cpp file is old (to be deleted). A prom is loaded in the ROM_START of the driver file and is not labeled bad dump - so I assume all is well. -
And then got the Ashton Kutcher "Punked" treatment with a supposed out-of-date comment from the source file src/mame/audio/nl_starhawk.cpp getting the best of me.
And with tv character Emily Litella's statement of "...they'll play guitar and bongo drums...."
here are some 'bitchn' musical pieces (Bachi and also Guarabe) from Clare Fischer - Salsa Picante (Discovery, 1980) Full Album [Latin Jazz] with drummers and best damn bongo players ever: Poncho Sanchez and Alex Acuna.
