A nightmare scenario that only Gary Larson (Far Side) comic creator could draft up in some amusing cartoon strip. The thing going for companies now these days is console technology so advanced that if the hardware is ever simulated or even fully emulated years from now, it would run so extremely slow and never be fully playable for another 50 years or so since desktop CPU speed (Intel or AMD) will be a long ways from ever catching up.
