I noticed too the bolts border looking red vs black; even borders of the Nichibutsu logo look reddish. I checked and I could not find any other game artwork where those bolts have borders different from black. The Terra Force CPO also seems to have that logo with black borders. Of course it could actually still have red borders on the bezel. Not sure about the square being embossed, surely as you said Yes, the purple on the pic has a sort of satin or metallic look I could not recreate in vectors. With so bad source pic it's quite difficult to say how it really should look. In any case I shared also the SVG so you can play around ;-)
