as the 1970s era Monty Python tv show animation sign would read.

Atari Rebound as Haze mentioned when testing with .221

>Haze: at some point 'rebound' actually became properly playable with smooth increments in
>the paddle movement, that's good to see

Going back to .210 release and probably earlier, the players paddle movements would jump / skip a few spaces instead of flowing at a smooth rate. I wonder exactly when the Rebound paddle movement was fixed between .210 and .221

It just seems like no more than last year even though it was about 2005 iirc when A. Scotti had presented a single screen snap image of Rebound in his emulator Tickle and it was shown and discussed on MW forums at the time.

The interesting pong variations [future targets?] would be For Play's Rally since that was one of the first generation pong clones that has option of either two players or player versus machine as a player would press switch on the control panel to select gameplay selection. Rally logic schematics online, but need to get other Rally paperwork scanned later.

The other would be Kee Games Spike which has a bit of Rebound gameplay where players direct pong ball with horizontal paddles while computer runs the vertical paddles and tries to block the pong ball back towards either player. I played Rally back in 1973. I never recall seeing Kee Games Spike. Getting scans online of Spike paperwork on to-do list.
