MAMEUI, Shaders, and OBS

Not sure if anyone remembers that last year I asked about setting up MAMEUI and OBS together as I was having issues with the game locking up when I tried to exit.
It was suggested that I use OpenGL to get around this problem.
Now that I remembered that I wanted to get OBS working with my cabinet a year later, I found out how to do that setting and it does seem to work.
But now HLSL doesn't work since I'm no longer using DirectX9. Doing some research, I need to set up GLSL, and I've done some downloads, config, etc. and things are looking closer to what I want, but still not sure how to make adjustments.
I'm using someone's set up for CRT-geom. I see the .vsh files that can be updated to change behavior, but not sure if I need to do anything else (since these are C-like, aka compiling them, etc.) or if just changing the value is enough to make it work.
I mostly want to reduce/eliminate the curving effect, and just keep the scanline effect. I've read that a shader called CRT-flat does this, but I've not found the files anywhere to download it.
Does anyone have experience playing with these files? If I can get this set up the way I want, then I'll work on getting a camera mounted and maybe do live streams of my playing arcade games, which was my plan last year when I started this thing.
Thanks for any assistance with this.
