MAME is a living document. While we all hope things inside the MAME source code are 100% accurate, sometimes they are not. We encourage anyone with the knowledge and initiative to correct known incorrect information by sending in source updates (preferred via Git as a Pull Request) to update any information in error. It is easy to say something is wrong and needs serious updating, it takes a bit more effort to actually move forward and fix issues.
