I don't seem to have an issue so long as you let the game boot up to title and aren't trying to fast forward the emulation. These games are particularly fussy about timing and if you happen to credit too fast or at the wrong times, you run the risk of getting a "Coin Error" in which you need to reset/restart the emulation. I've tried the last 6 versions and they all seem to work ok for me here, so long as I'm solid and methodical with my credits. I didn't even have to use the service coin (9).
