You're right. I saw a previous version of the game's artwork that had it, but I have checked the lastest version and it's not visible. However, I rather prefer a clean look, without glare, dust or scratches. But it's only my personal opinion.
Given that all G&W games seem to be emulated in MAME, it would be nice to have also the boxes or instructions. Archive.org has some scans of the boxes and units. It also has the instructions, but this is a compilation of the low quality scans from intheattic.co.uk. MAME doesn't have a proper option to read the instructions page by page and I don't know if it's possible to implement it, but if possible, I could provide some scans, but I will need help to clean and retouch them.
