There's this issue I used to run into with animations. I wonder if anyone else sees it. I'm getting it a bit here again. When I first started doing them I found that the animation would have some artifacting around the edges, sometimes a very visible white box if I was using one. Less so with a circle, but it seems it would still appear if there was a straight line, even for 2 pixels.. So yeah, I tried circles and squares and random shapes and it was always there, then I stumbled upon a diamond shape (actually a square turned 45 degrees) and wow, it works, I can use this now and I used the diamond shape on everything. Sometimes it would make a tiny bit of artifacting but I thought I'll just have to put up with it.
But what is it and how do I avoid it? Is it anti aliasing? Is it because I'm using artwork that doesn't fit my monitor resolution? Can you see it on this new artwork?
