dumping it is likely to be the trickiest part, depending on the scale of things inside, what is left exposed (pads, no pads and if not how fine the traces are, distance between chips, how messy the epoxy application is etc.)
in terms of emulation, if it's the same SunPlus as expected then it'll probably drop right in, has the same button setup etc. If it's a newer SunPlus (unlikely) then it'll be helpful too.
He should get a Designer's World at some point too which again is basically the same thing but with a different focus.
Don't think Sean will have time to process anything until Winter at least tho, so for now they're just added to the pile.
