By the way, if you think it would cost you *less* of your time, I'm fully willing to go the route of you saying "try 'XYZ'", and then having me get back to you with the results, instead of you doing it all alone: providing, of course, you think that would be a better/easier/quicker route than you doing it for yourself.
DISCLAIMER: My 'World Dominion Plan' here is to (finally!) go through the "PANIC! UNIX System Crash Dump Analysis Handbook" [1] book (which I do have a copy of, but way back when I bought it didn't have any access to SPARC hardware or/and SunOS/Solaris software - hoping 'some of the theory' still applied to Linux, but was surprised to hear didn't when I contacted the authors of the book because apparently 'Linus didn't like it if you could attach the debugger to the kernel, people should just write good code'.)
