Interesting.
But I've noticed something else in the second video, near the end when you see those full screen characters, before they appear you can clearly see a slow RED/WHITE/BLACK screen sequence before the character change.
If you look at this japanese AES version you'll notice the same slow RED/WHITE/BLACK screen sequence but in a different order.

In mame the screen flashes too fast and it looks pink(ish).

I don't know how to do it, I'm just a regular player, I can't describe what I'm seeing in a way the developers will understand, can you do it for me, please?
