The DU is very clear that unless they are raising funds for a specific thing to dump, they do not take requests/demands on what to do with donations, beyond put them towards dumpable acquisitions.

That is already well under way and not under the DU's purview, but mine. I, on the other hand, do accept requests. However, of the relatively limited number of Game & Watch handhelds left to acquire, they typically range in price from around $200 (for tabletop or panorama games) to $2000 (for crystal-screen games). Each.

The Mini Classics are widely available on Tradera for the equivalent of around $50-60 each. I already have around five of them, including Tetris.

The MAME team has a policy of not taking requests, particularly in exchange for money.

Considering your studies aren't yet complete, the phrase "putting the cart before the horse" leaps to mind.

A noble goal.

No.

How thoughtful.

Look, I'm just going to be frank, if it weren't for the amount of effort you spent writing this post, I would almost think that you're just taking the piss. Your studies aren't complete, you don't have a job yet, but you're vowing to stump up three hundred bucks a month to the DU. Not only that, it's readily apparent that you haven't done the slightest bit of research into the MAME team, the DU, or their respective policies before waltzing in like Mr. Big-Shot.

If this isn't just some joke, then I have to wonder, are you on the spectrum? I'm genuinely asking here, not trying to troll. As someone there myself, but with about 15 years more time of learning coping strategies, the overbearing tone of your post combined with the keen interest level absolutely screams it. It's like I'm looking into a time vortex, truth be told.
