Congrats with finding and getting that game. Good to see the sellers kept cab in working shape. That is an Allied Leisure product I don't recall ever seeing at places when I went to arcades during 1970s era.

Numitron Scoring

Numitron vacuum tubes are sort of like Nixie’s poor sister. They utilize a seven segment display which makes them clearer to read. The tubes only require 5 volts making them ideal for use in an arcade cabinet. Very few bronze age arcade games use external displays for scoring. As a collector, it’s a real treat to see something like them in action.

This part is what makes it interesting imo. iirc MAME does some form of limited emulation of 'Nixie' hardware. It was an item that was emulated on MESS side before the projects officially merged...although the source code was already merged before the projects merged.

Unsure what would be needed, if any, to emulate the Numitron vacuum tubes display output in MAME.

To emulate Hesitation video output display correctly, some decent photos of the way the translucent color sheets are arranged on monitor so a proper artwork layout file can be created would be a start.

If logic schematics even exist these days and can be found, that helps as well.

Schematics scans were done last year for a few games including For Play's Sport Center.

I had to take foldout sheets to American Reprographics last year. It was pricey, but they did a very good job with my specific job request.

Zip file contains both color and black/white scan images of For Play's Sport Center logic schematics.

I wondered who bought the Atari Crossfire cab when it was for auction a couple years ago.
Actual screenshot photos of Meadows Dead Eye is on want list because unsure if that game used any overlay pieces. I saw the cab myself back in 1970s, but never played the game. The only Meadows game I really played was Meadows Bombs Away and that was only Meadows game I played frequently back in the days. The other Meadows games, I don't recall what they looked like.

I don't recall what Meadows Cobra Gunship looked like during gameplay so seeing the photo of what game looks like is neat. I hope a video clip of Cobra Gunship in action is around since I don't recall gameplay itself.

I hope schematics helped in case they were needed if any specific pcb repair work had to be done. I am glad PSE got their act together and improved their manuals for the more
advanced hardware for games such as Desert Patrol and Game Tree.

Interesting cab design (prototype) variation compared to what I remember seeing in arcades. Good luck getting it repaired.
