macOS cross-platform frontends in 2019
01/10/19 12:55 AM

Given that QMC2 doesn't look to be being actively maintained anymore, can anyone recommend a macOS-compatible frontend with wide cross-platform compatibility?

We're running MAME here on a mix of macOS, Linux, and Windows machines. One of the real strengths of QMC2 (apart from consistency of the interface on all platforms) was its ability to store and read both its and an emulator's configuration files from a network share. This meant that regardless of the machine MAME was being used on, both QMC2's configuration and MAME's remained consistent.

Does anyone have any recommendations for frontends that can replicate this functionality? Eye-candy is not a necessity, though having the ability to show game screenshots, etc. during selection would be a nice-to-have.
