Got back to Japan last Tuesday. I'm still super stoked to be back. Wednesday or Thursday I had enough space between boxes to drop in the Vega 64 card I picked up in the States, to power the Oculus Rift that I also picked up. *Maybe Christmas day, I'll make some time to actually give that thing a whirl (already purchased several VR games and apps and such during the winter sales).
But not today. Today, I go to one of my favorite restaurants with my wife, to celebrate our 19th anniversary. Holy, Crap! 19 Years and we're still together? More than 20 since our first meeting? I really must have done something right in a previous life, because I am not rich (though we are fairly comfortable for our lifestyle) and we were never able to have kids. There is nothing at all that actually *forces us to remain married. Yet here we are... 
Almost a full week chipping away at unpacking and organizing stuff and there is still work to be done. I really miss having the extra storage room that military housing provided 
Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
