I had seen this on local tv news promos for past day or two, but never had time to catch what it was all about. Finally saw this on DU's forum and watched what it was about.
Amazing. This engineer is a freaking genius with this setup package he and friend had created and assembled. It is worth watching entire video clip just to see how he created the package with also using some elements from 1980s movie 'Home Alone'. Watching the actual end results is what makes the video clip damn funny imo.
The 'fart spray' component from the package itself is already a winning design imo. LOL
Recent update to this video clip as posted by someone...it appears the designer was not aware of some of the captured video (crooks) were not actual porch pirates, but associates that tried to deceive the designer of getting some monetary reward offerings for package being returned to him. Video still has its moments here and there.
it looks more like he was scammed by a friend-of-a-friend that agreed to put the box on their porch, and then had a few of his own friends 'steal' it so they could get the cash that had been offered for a successful recovery. He removed those two from the video; the 3 that remain were actual crooks. -
