Space Fury parent has a weird pitch change: http://mametesters.org/view.php?id=2684 Use a clone for that game.
Wizard of Wor, Qbert and others all suffer from the experimental Votrax emulation rather than samples. It is a known issue: http://mametesters.org/view.php?id=6462
You've been advised already what versions to use for older sample behavior.
