War: Final Assault crash in first person view but can't find the error log.

The game crashes if you switch the ingame view into first person. The problem is the window just closes with no error log produced. I was going to post this on MAMETesters but I don't want to unless I find an crash log. I don't know what the big deal is or what I'm doing wrong. Using MAME640.198GIT command line.

Attract mode works fine and game can be played through 100% only in third person view.
