Well, I would believe you if I were using the front end to launch it but I'm not. I'm using solely MAME. I took the front end out of the equation long time ago.

I'll try and update and see if that helps. The Mame.Ini is still present in Linux and I have tried removing that to see if it builds a new one but I still have the same issue afterwards.

Thanks. If you happen to know where it stores the MAME path for saved games that could help.
