please stop spreading this misconception.
the idea that PC based games don't need dumping properly is going to cause nightmares in the future when we actually need to emulate them and there are no proper dumps, only files ripped from the games.
PC based hardware needs dumping just like any other hardware, the hacks going around lately are going to be dangerous to the cause in the long-run, as are people putting PC based arcade hardware in a different bracket to the rest.
20 years from now the world might not even be running Windows as a primary OS, might not have video cards that are backwards compatible with what these require, you name it. Before you laugh, remember, there are a lot of arcade games on PC hardware that ran on DOS, people said the same things back then, good luck running most of those without proper dumps and an emulator.
